Did not keep our reservation
Despite making a reservation months in advance, and reconfirming several times (including the morning of our arrival date!), we were informed upon arrival that no rooms were available. We were left high and dry in Bangkok on a Saturday night with no place to stay.

Friendly service at a bargain price
I have stayed at Malaysia Hotel twice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean, no frills hotel. Has a large, clean pool which seems to be under-utilised.
Malai Coffee House is fine for just coffee. Try somewhere else for food. It's mediochre. Open 24hrs. Frequented by money-boys who can be a bit pushy at times. Security at the Hotel is good with any room visitors required to leave ID with reception. Malaysia is not a gay hotel but is very gay-friendly. Not really a family hotel.
