We stayed here for 2 weeks & enjoyed ourselves thoroughly - staff, accommodation, & food excellent in the main. Getting round in Sri Lanka is a challenge (normally we would hire a car, but the roads are hugely over burdened with traffic making trips, although essential, exhausting and time consuming). All inclusive is good value but we would recommend forgoing the hotels meals occasionally in order to support the local restaurants, since all the businesses relating to tourism have had a tough time post Tsunami. In particular we enjoyed a superb meal at the tiny Marabou Restaurant; just down the road from the hotel less than 1 minute walk, across the rail way line.
