We arrived on the 16th of June for our honeymoon. The car ride to the hotel was very scary and the driver was no help. We arrived at the hotel, the staff were friendly. We were showed to our room and asked if it was ok to upgrade to a superior room. It was bigger and CLEANER. Most staff were very friendly and helpful apart from the reception staff who were always more friendly to the higher paying customers. On the third day another honeymoon customer was telling us about the honeymoon package that the Eden refused to give them. We later asked where ours was and the staff told us they had no idea we were on our honeymoon so we did not qualify for the package eventhough we had booked as a honeymoon holiday. We became friends with another family who had the same problms as us - with the food it was always cold and very small portions. Biggest problem of the holiday was the cleaners adding to the mini bar bill eventhough the items we were billed for were never in the fridge to begin with. Billing is a big problem in the Eden. They try and get money for everything, the cleaners wouldn't clean the room unless they told you about it so that you could give them a tip. My room wasn't cleaned at all for 2 days as me and my husband went on a 2 day trip. The second we arrived back, the cleaner was asking for his tip to clean the room.
