| Rooms hardly reach 3 star standard |
| The hotel lobby is elegant and the breakfast is very good.
However, the rooms hardly reach a 3 star standard. They are musty, small, simply furnished with small plain bathrooms. When we saw the room we didn't believe that this was meant to be a regular room in a 5 star hotel. We asked if they had better rooms and were shown a newly remodeled room that didn't look any better or fresher than the old one. From the outside the hotel also looks tired.
Many of the staff are not competent or willing to help. When we needed help, on a couple of occasions we were promptly given an advice that we can do it ourselves. When we repeated our request for help, they tried hard to explain why they cannot do it and, when they finally agreed to help, they kept informing us what problems they were encountering instead of simply doing the work and informing us about the final outcome.
On our way from the hotel we talked with a taxi driver and he mentioned that he often hears customer complaints about this hotel, unlike other hotels in the vicinity.
