We stayed in Eldorado for 4 nights. The room we got was a standard room (around 2000 peso per night). We got a room right next to the reception. The rooms smell of mold inside. The room interior looks like a bunker. The pics on their website look much better. When we asked to have our room changed, the cleaning lady suggested using Lysol as a air-freshener. The resort is a little overcrowded - all rooms packed closely together. The airconditioner is very old an noisy - better left off. The swimming pool's too close to the bar, in the middle of everything.
The price of food is okay, and there are some dishes that are quite good. Everything's made to European/German taste, so you probably won't eat anything authentic Asian. There are no restaurants around, so you basically have to rely on the restaurant food. You can also eat in the resort next door - Pura Vida.
