Top Local Tips for Cebu

Taxi's Make sure to ask the taxi to put the meter on, if they don't (this will happen to you) make sure to bargain them down to maximum 250 pesos for any ride(the moment you get in ask or you will end up aying a fortune), (from 15 to 20 min) and make sure to carry exact change because they won't have any. If they say more then 250 pesos tell them you want to get out and stop the taxi and they will bring it down or you can find another one that will. Fro example a driver told me "good price for you 500 pesos", I said no way stop the cab, and within 1min it was down to 200 pesos
