The cost of the resort would lead you to believe it is amazing. Although the beach and ocean are beautiful, I am sure that can be found anywhere in the Maldives. The customer service is terrible and hotel rooms really old and ugly. We were made to feel that they just wanted our money and did not care to make us have a wonderful vacation.

We were looking for a 'get away from it all' holiday and found that we had made a great choice. Yes, there was some building work on the other side of the island (the water bungalows had been damaged by the Tsunami). We were not bothered by this at all but some people had rooms close by and although the area was screened they still had some noise. The resort itself was kept spotless in all areas. The rooms were cleaned twice daily while we were out. Towels were replenished daily including the pool towels that were provided. The service in all areas was excellent to the point sometimes of being a little bit too full on. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic with a huge choice always hot and fresh. The menu changed every day and apart from the basics the main dishes are on a 2 week rota. Trips are available and are a welcome break from all that relaxing. It is truly a divers or snorkellers paradise as the water is crystal clear. Even if not a waterbabe you can still view a wide variety of fish from the jetty and beach. Baby reef sharks come within two feet of the beach in the shallow water. Would highly recommend in fact currently in the process of booking a return visit!
