We have stayed at the G.S.3 times and will be back again in 2007. It is ideally located in the midst of the night markets and hundreds of restaurants. We always have breakfast in the hotel but have our evening meal outside somewhere. If you want a
great experience catch the local bus from right outside the hotel into Georgetown.

Golden sands golden hotel
As usual with the Shangri-La group a top class hotel with excellent staff and good quality rooms and amenities. Although a fairly large hotel the grounds bars and restaurants never seemed crowded. A special word of praise for the 'wee' girl who greeted everyone with a big smile throughout our stay.
