Great time in KK
To be truthful, I did not know what to expect when I booked my vacation to Kota Kinabalu. I was looking for some sun and some beach and a relaxing time. When I booked my accommodations at Lavender Lodge through their website, I was immediately responded to by Daniel who said that he would pick me up from the airport. What service! When I arrived, he was there just as he said and the drive to the Lodge was no more than 15 minutes. The lodge is located right in the city centre - making it convenient to get to everything you need to get to. The rooms were clean and the staff were extremely friendly. It was the staff that informed me of the many other things to do in Sabah. It is an adventure seekers paradise. While my main goal was to just lie on a beach, I could not resist getting out to one of the activities in the interior and I visited Mount Kinabalu park and Poring Hot Springs - which was booked through the lodge. First trip to Kota Kinabalu
Greetings,
I spent alot of time looking for a place to stay for 9 days in KK. I sent numerous emails to various Hotels/Lodges and got the best and quickest response from Daniel at Lavender Lodge.
Daniel started off our adventure by picking us up at the Airport which was something he didn't have to do but was a very nice gesture, one of many he did for us while staying at the hotel.
The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, there was coffee and toast in the morning if you wanted and the use of the computer was free. The room was basic but very clean and the bed was comfortable. Daniel, his wife and staff did everything they could do to make us comfortable and I would highly recommend this Lodge to anyone.

Highly recommended hotel!
We are very happy to have chosen this hotel as it turned out to be a new budget hotel. It is exactly as described in the website. very clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staffs, very quiet, so just the right place to unwind after sightseeing and diving trips.good value for money and highly recommended.
