It's OK!
This hotel is fine. I disagree with the last 2 comments. The staff are friendly and the hotel has an olde world charm about it. The food is good and it has fantastic views out over the Kelantan River. The building is well placed to see the city. I think I know the place better than the previous 2 reviewers as I have stayed here for over a month now. I also know that rennovations are going on in the top floors and will be ready soon.

Worst hotel in SE Asia
In January 2006 my wife and I stayed one night atthis hotel. The room was so dirty that dirt stuck to you feet, The ceiling in the bathroom was coming down, There was a half sheet on the bed, the pillows were filthy (stained) and smelled. This hotel would be classed as a dirty one star at most.
