Clean hotel with pleasant staff
This is a plain simple hotel with very reasonable rates. The rates vary according to time of year. I have stayed here several times. The staff are friendly but speak very little English. Rooms are small but clean and adequate - comfortable beds, bathroom, internet connection, tv, slippers etc. Very good small Japanese restaurant. Located a two minute walk from Ochanomizu station; about five minute walk to Akihabara, 15 minutes to Kanda, 30 minutes walk to Tokyo Dome or to Ueno Park. About 15-20 minutes taxi from Tokyo City Air Terminal, maybe 15 minutes taxi from Shinjuku Station. This is not a fancy hotel but I find it comfortable, relatively inexpensive, & a pretty good location. If you do not smoke ask for a non-smoking room. I will stay here again.
