It is a quiet hotel away from the centre but very convenient for Magome station and so easy to get to from the Airports (only Y1200 in 2000) The room, the slippers, the bathroom and the yukata were all quite small for a large 6' Westerner but the bed was adequate and the TV was free. The staff were as helpful and polite as you would expect in Japan. But their English was not as fluent as you would get in the larger hotels in Ginza etc. It was certainly better than my Japanese so who am I to complain. A couple of problems I had - they didn't like my fiance visiting me in the room! She only waited half an hour while I was having a shower but this was definitely frowned upon. Also they closed over New Year so I had to move to the Asia Kaikan which was definitely a move down.
