Great Hotel and Holiday

I really loved it in goa and staying in the hotel sun village. The staff were just really great and made such a good effort to keep us happy at all times. I loved that hotel and I am definitely going to go back this year hopefully.

Stayed in Sun Village Feb 2006 for 2 weeks. The food was good but the same menu every couple of days. We could not get a cool beer or a cool bottle of water from any of the bars. We ate out most nights (we were all inclusive)Rooms were ok but not great. The stairs up to the lawn area are dangerous. Certainly not a 4 star hotel! We normally stay at the Marinha Dourada hotel nearby. Would not recommend Sun Village Hotel

Great place for families

I first went to Sun Village as a single female traveller in 2000, I returned this year ('05) with 2 of our children (10 & 12yrs) on my own as hubby couldn't take leave. Sun Village was welcoming and safe when I first visited which was why I was prepared to go there on my own with the children. The hotel staff make a great effort for you and it's very safe to let the children have their freedom around the complex. Some of the rooms are a bit basic, but clean and I found the food, although good, less impressive than on my previous visit. Would definately return with all four children or just as a couple.

Brilliant holiday

We had a brilliant holiday at this hotel despite the anticipated upset stomach. BBQ meals at hotel good (rats come out to play as the evening quietens down!) Other than that better to eat at beach shacks - no after effects at all! Not 4* in our opinion for food generally.
