Noisy and run down
I'm staying for two nights. We arrived 2 hours ago very noisy with barking dogs. Guest banging doors and echoing vioces sounding like in the room with you- a/c is old and noisy also so close its in the bed, pointless. Lots of very small flys in bath room and mold on cieling, dated and unclean with only just warm water. Restaurant closed as private party, was offer dinner in room, decided otherwise and went out.
on the good side sheets clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Mini bar and coffee/tea making in room. Nice pillows, a/c if your a good sleeper or for daytime use. Nice flat screen tv shame the reception is bad and remote bat flat unusable bring a ipod or book. Best thing is free wi-fi so I can moan on location lying in bed.

Loved it
First visit to india last year and didn't know what to expect. The Sri Nanak was great - picked us up from the airport - itself quiet daunting - and eased us into India life nicely. Staff great, food great and would recommend it. In fact we're going back to India dec 07 and using Sri Nanak as our first nights hotel.

Great Stay
I stayed in this property in June, 2007. My stay was perfect in this hotel. It’s a very nicely run & managed beautiful hotel. Everyone was great especially the staff who were always ready to help you & also Sandeep (Director of the hotel) was very helpful. It’s a very nice hotel with clean & nicely decorated modern rooms. I had a very pleasant stay here. I would strongly recommend this hotel instead of going into other creepy places.

Excellent Service
I stayed in Hotel Nanak this month & I am quite happy with their services & room quality. It's a great budget hotel....they offered me free pickup from the airport, breakfast, fruit basket & mineral water ( 2 bottles per day )....that's enough for a solo traveller like me but most importantly they provides free internet facility which is quite handy when you are in India. They have a nice but small restaurant on the roof where they serve nice food. I am completely happy with the hotel & their service & totally disagree with the negative reviews for this hotel, which is posted on this website by some guest (Named Annette). I would love to stay at Hotel Nanak again.

Hotel posts false reviews
I stayed at this hotel in December 2006 - and was not impressed with the staff nor the room. There was hair on the sheets, the hotel (inside & out) was loud, and the staff was less than friendly.
Therefore I was horrified when I saw the favorable review below with my name. I can only imagine how many of these reviews have been posted by the hotel itself. I would strongly advise against this hotel.
