Unprofessional and discourteous staff
I tried to check in to the hotel but encountered unprofessional, discourteous and rude staff at the front desk. I was asked for a picture ID and I gave my international driver's license. The hotel manager sent it outside the building to get a photo copy. I waited for over 20 minutes to get back my license. Grand Godwin Hotel Delhi is not a good choice to stay in Delhi.
Grand Godwin Hotel Delhi is not a good choice to stay in Delhi. So crowded place just near to railway station, so much traffic, lot of noises from the kitchen. Every time house keeping looking for the tips. All this make our stay really horrible in this hotel.

Excellent hotel with great service
Our stay at the Grand Godwin could not have been better. The Reception staff gave us a warm welcome and were courteous and efficient. Our accomodation was modern and well furnished with good bathroom facilities. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. There was plenty of choice, catering for Indian and Continental tastes. Again, the staff were helpful and efficient.
We were very impressed with the standard of service provided by this hotel, and were particulary impressed with the General Manager, Mr.Peter and Mr. Dasgupta on reception.
I would recommend this extremely well appointed hotel to anybody looking for a good standard of accomodation at very reasonable rates and would certainly use this hotel again.

Although unfortunatly we were given a double room on arrival the staff very quickly found a twin room for us. Room service was excellant as was the food in the restaurant.
