Good front staff but system needs to be streamlined

Overall, it was an ok experience though not consistent. I stayed a couple of times in ginger as I went in between to Agra for a couple of days. The front staff is courteous but the check in took a long time. It is not a self check in as their site seems to suggest. The room was well equipped but we were given a dirty room the second time around when we arrived late at night. But sheets and towels were always clean. While booking on the phone I was told that I could leave my luggage for the rest of the day when I checked out in their "electronic lockers" but there were no electronic lockers and they didn't allow us to leave our luggage without a fight citing security as a reason. If they told me while booking I would have booked in some other hotel. If you are making train trips, the location is convenient. One big disadvantage is that there were no restaurants nearby so you have to depend on theirs. Overall ok for a family but for others better to stay in the nearby Paharganj which has more atmosphere and more facilities.
