This is the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in (and I include youth hostels in that grouping). The unfriendliest staff and the most ridiculously bureaucratic check-in procedure. After checking in, we saw the rooms and were appalled. The doors didn't shut properly. The fan looked as though it would fall off any second. The airconditioning was deafening. Cockroaches were running around, alongside some other unidentifiable bugs, the shower was disgusting and required shoes to be worn at all times - even in it. We were given about 8 pieces of toilet paper. The sheets and towels were dirty and no beds were made the following day. I was appalled. If I had paid £2 per night for this and there were backpackers and some sort of life, I may have found the experience acceptable.
