Great Food & nice Rooms.

The hotel is located in the Main city of Jaipur. The hotel has maintained its 3 Star hotel Status with Good Food and Rooms Setup. Though the staff is a bit slow, but then probably it depends upon the person.

I visited Jaipur from 16.02.2008 to 20.02.2008. I booked 2 deluxe rooms as advance booking through a family friend who lives in Jaipur. The hotel had 2 different rooms structure within the category of deluxe rooms. I was provided the rooms on the 5th floor to which only service lift operated. The day I was checking out I checked the other room on there 1st floor in the same category and found it to be much better room in comparison to which I was given. When asked they said you were given the old room and other rooms are newly renovated. Condition of the room provided to me - carpet was in torn condition, the night light was not working, the toilets were not clean, hot water was flowing in both taps, the mattress were not the size of the bed (they were smaller). I do not understand why I was given such a room when I booked the accommodation in advance. In the end when I had to make full payment for 2 deluxe rooms, I felt bad and cheated.

1. It was our first time to Jaipur. I called them from the car asking for the direction. The guy who received the call had no empathy towards a out of town traveller and was absolutely of no help. We ended up driving around for over half hour before locating the Hotel. 2. The rooms provided were not the same as the photograph supplied to me by one Anil Kumawat via email. In fact, I made it clear in the mails that we need western dry toilets. We were given Indian style toilets on the ground floor of the hotel. 3. I was told that no other rooms were available on any other floor. Surprisingly, upon insisting that I am not going to stay in a room with Indianstyle toilet, they transferred me to a much better room on the fourth floor. This room was good. But by that time it spoiled our mood. 4. Another family travelling with us, having two kids, could get bigger and better room for them. They were given a room with only one CFL in it. And therefore they had to live in that darkened room for two consecutive day. 5. All these happened in spite of me booking the rooms at least 2 months in advance. 6. During check out they FORGOT to take the Rs. 3000 advance deposit into account. Of course, they had to rectify it after we pointed it to them. 7. They came out to the road after our checkout and stranded us on the road claiming that we haven't returned a key for one of the rooms. After a lots of shouting and yelling they conveniently discovered the key at the reception area only. 8. In the two whole day that we lived there, I could not meet that Anil Kumawat in person. He seemed to be too busy to meet his customers. He even never called me at the number that I left at the reception for him. 9. Whatever you do, do not, please do not make reservation for this hotel over the net. They seem to be taking undue advantage of the confirmed guest. (We have seen another groups of customers yelling at them with issues similar to us).
