Alpana Hotel Haridwar

Great location for foreign travellers who come by train. Just a few hundred meters from ghat, ganges.

This hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes from Harki-Pauri and right along main bazarre. Room was clean and spacious and heater was provided. Only drawback was the unfriendly reception at the front desk and hawkish glare of staff at travel desk.

We stayed in this hotel for three days and we enjoyed the stay. This is just above the market area and very near to Har-Ki-Pauri. We could go in and out any time of the day and can go to ghat whenever we wanted. Staffs were very helful and the manager was extremely helpful. When we were driving to the hoel, he even told one of his staff to stand outside the gate to receive us! Only one negative point is about the travel desk situated in the hotel. I recommend that you should avoid this particular travel desk. They try to cheat.

I liked the clean rooms. It's centrally located & easy to get to Har ki pauri.
