Mello Rosa is peaceful place with hamock and swing to add to the peace and tranquility. Why does a Kingfisher skim a fishless pool--there are plenty birds in and aroung the resort. Monkeys and peacocks behind. The rooms are clean and minimal but fully equipped. Enviornmentally friendly--Hot water from solar panels, waste water is recycled for gardening and the rooms constructed to avoid direct sunlight. Food, entertainment and pool was excellent. I would highly recommend Mello Rosa for a peaceful enjoyable holiday.

This is to the second time our stay in mellorosa. There are lots of change they have done in this season, a new restaurant is also open for english food. This year also we had good time

Tell you what: Mellarosa is the worst resort I have stayed during whole of my life. We had booked 2 rooms for 4Nights at this resort from 28th December 08 - 1st January 2009 but the first day was such a bad experience that we decided to change the hotel immediately. next day we went to sunkissed resort. you all will be amazed that we paid 12,000 rupees extra as cancellation charges for rest of our booking. the hotel is old, worn out and stinking everywhere. we could hear every conversation of the guests in our next room. the breakfast was so pathetic that we ledt the restaurant without having it. we just wanted to spend the 1 night anyhow & leave the place immediately next morning. the family who owns the resort (dmello) just wants to make money anyhow without providing any kind of service.... dont make the mistake of staying here. within the same range or paying a bit extra you will get much better hotel

This hotel was a dump! Those writing bad reviews were justified as it had a lot of mold and lots of things were broken when we arrived. However after about a month the rooms were doneup, repainted and most of the broken things repaired. The pool is lovely and the resort is relaxing as it's not too much in the centre of party town Calangute. A good price for a much improved resort.
