Dirty rooms and poor organisation

I arrived in Chennai having booked a room and a car to meet me at the airport and received confirmation back by email. The hotel car was not at the airport and when I eventually arrived at the hotel they had no knowledge of a booking. Eventually they found me a room. The room was very shabby, dirty walls in the bathroom, plaster loose and falling down in the bedroom, and a cracked and broken bedside lampshade. The bar was dark, dingy, and smelly. The only saving grace was the waiter who brought the food for room service - he was politeness personified! In the morning the taxi I had booked for 7.30 am to take me to the airport eventually showed up at 8.15 am. The hotel staff weren't particularly bothered. I would not stay at this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone else.

Staying in a hotel in chennai is not that easy. There are hotels that offer cozy show in the outside and we would notice difficulties after checking in. This hotel is not only good by outwardly looks, the rooms are well maintained and is clean. It is very much suitable for familys as well persons who enjoy staying with family but still party. (Bar attached). In south India one of the best liked and reasonably priced hotel.!!
