Worst place I have ever stayed

Room was dirty, smelt like an ashtray bedding left a lot to be desired i.e the extra pillow left has been a used one and the bedspread was an odd colour due to lack of washing. Bathroom was disgusting with a broken sink, rusty coloured water, mould on wall tiles and floor tiles, smell of a well used public toilet. The meal which was served at dinner was fine but when we sat down for breakfast the hygene rules left a lot to be desired. The dirty tabelcloth from the previous night (we sat at the same table for dinner) has never been changed,our coffee cups were filthy,the buffet breakfast was almost cold and to add to it all the staff were coughing and sneezing all over the place. Needless to say, we walked out. WE DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO STAY AT THE MALABAR PALACE HOTEL IN CALICUT
