Nice Place
I'm 23 yrs old and am here on business for 4 months. Here's the deal.
- Room is small, but more than big enough
- Very clean and gets cleaned almost daily
- I have a pretty good view from my room and I'm not even halfway up in the building
- Flat screen TV with plenty of channels
- No issues with "smokers" as another reviewer put it
- Not as nice as my place in NY or London, but HK in general as smaller apartments
- Free mini bus transport to the main areas of HK everymorning
- Bed is kinda rock hard, but I've gotten used to it and kinda like it
- couch is small and can't lay down on it
- Kitchen didn't come with all the necessary equipment for cooking, will have to buy your own
- No heat, gets cold at night sometimes
- Gym sucks and restaurant has bad hours (join California Fitness if you come, it costs just as much as others and is very crowded at night, but so are other gyms and this place has absolutely everything you could want)
- 20yards from HK botanically gardens ...Read more

Much better than expected
Having seen an earlier review which said it was shabby we were worried about our choice.
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children - aged 2 and 4. Our children have eczema hence the need to have self catering facilities. Our parents who live in HK checked the place out for us and said it was nice. Indeed they compared it to the YWCA which is next door and recommended it above that.
Our two weeks there we found the following:
1. The location was excellent - 5 minutes from a park and 15 minutes from another park. The main "supermarket" was Park n Shop - about 5 minutes from the hotel and stocks all the usual European foods as well as Chinese food. You can get most places by taxi but for us we enjoyed walking (at least going down - the climb back was harder and we occasionally took a taxi back.
There is also a free shuttle bus to the heart of HK every morning and evening which we took advantage of occasionally.
2. The room was cleaned every day which we did not expect. Having cl...Read more

Second home
I have been here since 2001. This is a different kind of corp. apartment, a lot of the residence here are long term, which means they have been here for a couple of years. We all have our own furniture. This is the only serviced apartments of it's kind that allows you to have your own furniture. This place have been going through refurbishment, and I have tried sleeping in the new beds, they are of high standard. They have also ripped out all of the old carpets and cabinates and wall paper. Everthing is new and of good satisfactory condition. They have also recruited a new cheif as well as a new coffee shop manager. The smoking policy has changed and they are moving into a totally smoke free zone. A new Italian coffee machine has also been installed. I enjoy my morning coffee there everyday. All the staffs has been there for a long time and are very helpful, friendly and personal. I am very happy here.

Very Shabby
My company put me up here on my 1st visit to HK; it is supposed to be a corp. apartment. This place was probably livable 5 years ago, but is badly in need of refurbishment.
1) They do not differentiate Smoking and Non-Smoking floors; my room was ok but my hallway REAKED of smoke.
2) Carpet was disgusting -- would not walk barefoot
3) Bed was hard as a rock, like sleeping on the floor
4) Couches were uncomfortable and old, would not want to "lounge" on them.
5) Air conditioning in room was loud
6) Coffee Shop food was dreadful, and they stopped serving at 9:30pm. 1st night I got there could not get even a bottle of water. No other restaurants nearby, either, so you have to bring food from downtown.
7) Gym is a room with 2 treadmills, Stairmaster, and a few weights.
I would compare this to a rundown Howard Johnson's in the US. Definitely not as nice as, say, a Marriott Residence Inn in the US.
