Top Local Tips for Hong Kong

Make your teen happy without lightening your wallet Check out Sham Shui Po for all your electronic needs and the market there is great for finding cool stuff to bring back for your teenagers. There is also a fabulous market near the Prince Edward MTR on Fa Yuen Street. That's where you'll find fantastic buys on designer tops, pants and so on ( brand names like Roxy, Abercrombie, Hollister,Billabong, Emily the Strange.....everything your teens are looking for at prices that don't make you choke. $7 for t shirts, $10 for sweatshirts.... I bring two suitcases, one for myself and the other to fill up.

It's all good..... ......just dont think too much about hygiene. If its full of locals, its good food!

Airport Express Although after a long flight we took a taxi to our Kowloon hotel (c£20) I definitely recommend using the Airport Express at least to return to the airport. On our final day we were able to take the free shuttle (there are 7 different routes calling at most major hotels c. every 20mins) to the Kowloon station,check in for our evening flight and check in our baggage. The trains run every 15mins and take approx. 30mins. Checking in at the station meant we didn't have to worry about getting back to the hotel to collect bags and we could arrive atthe airport much later, spending more time in HK
