Not a bad word to say about the hotel or staff and food but I love to buy gold on hols as I'm allergic to nickel and usually buy Turkish gold which is really good quality. On the reps advice we went to what we were told was the best jewellers..Hubby bought me some gold earrings and a matching pendant for my birthday..We were told that display was not real gold and the real item would be delivered to our hotel. As it came the day before we left I never got chance to wear it but when we got home I noticed that the diamond pendant had a strip of sellotape over the diamonds. On taking this off, 3 of the diamonds came out. On wearing the earrings for the first time - a stone dropped out during the night and my ears were extremely itchy - so I knew they weren't real gold. Hubby spent 200 pounds on me on these two items so we weren't happy and we are going back this year but don't know if it's worth taking them back to complain. If any Reps read these I would be grateful to know what you think..

Hi guys this is one of the better all inclusive hotels their is. I have just come back from a 28 night stay at this holiday excellent in every possible way. Great food drinks, brilliant hotel staff and bell boys. Rooms cleaned daily by the most experienced maids. I have been to this hotel 11 times now and every time have enjoyed it and am returning again on 17 february for another 3 weeks and can't wait to meet up with my tunisian and english friends again. I would move to this country given half the chance so guys if you want a great holiday give this hotel a go first and then decide and make arrangements for youre next visit love you all guys xxxxxxxxxxxx

Loved this place! Only us got back and I still cry because I met the most amazing people here! Especially the entertainers!! If I didnt go here I wouldn't of met speedy who i got on with very well n loved to bits! =] Gona misss em all so so much.. Hopefully we will come back in May xx

We were a bit wary as we never been all inclusive before but needn't have worried! This was the best holiday we ever had. We went with another couple - same age..we've only been half board before - took some convincing to go all inclusiove but now I'd never do anything else..the food was great - had some right concoctions - but was all fresh and brilliantly set out - loved the omelets ...some nights it was the same food but you just had to put a bit of everything on your plate..I loved the tea at 4 with those gorgeous cakes!!!to die for! The animation team were absolutely brill!!! WE couldn't have wished for more. They were on the go from dawn till dusk! The shows were amazing too - different every night - and not repeated the 2nd week either. We tried things we normally wouldn't - boules, archery, pool darts, water aerobics. It was all great fun - you didn't have to join in if you didn't want to, but great fun if you did. We're going to book for next year too - it was that good..went into port el kantoui once or twice but weren't too impressed - too much hassle - didn't have to go off the complex really - trips organized from there too. We were a bit disappointed with the boat trip though. Everything else was great though - even tried paragliding even though I'm scared of heights and I loved it! There are loads of beach sports to do ..love it!!

A big group of us went to the Abou Sofiane this September have to say it was the best holiday I've been on! The entertainers what can I say outstanding is there anything they can’t do??? They made the holiday a treat! Everyone was so friendly and the shows and disco were a laugh! Plenty of food to keep you going and brilliant beach and water sport area! Just don’t get chucked in the pool after the disco they weren’t too impressed! Stick to cherry brandy straight and wine to get drunk! But have the cocktails beautiful especially sweet Africa! Didn’t want to come home been back 2 weeks and we are now going bk 28th October this year for a week woohoo!

The entertainment team were fabulous, especially with children. Always keeping them interested with the vast array of day and evening activities on offer. Very friendly and approachable, perhaps the best part of my holiday. Summary of other things, the food because fairly samey as can be expected from an all-inclusive buffet, but it was of good quality so was not a problem. The alcohol portions were fairly small, but if you ordered the spirit separate to the mixer, it soon solved that. All in all a fabulous holiday and I would definitely return to the same hotel.

Very nice hotel, clean, large rooms with balcony. Nice food and drinks, very pleasant atmosphere, I recommend this hotel. People without emotions avoid.

Hotel was very basic, but nice and clean. Good choice of food in the restaurant. Good beach front location, lovely sandy beach. Hotel staff were not the friendliet, maybe it was the wrong time of year. December was quite chilly both day and night. The sea was really freezing, so didnt get to go in it. The pool could of done with being heated, as no one was in it. The drinx all seemed to be watered down. Drink the wine if you want to get drunk and have a headache the next day. A really nice waiter in the restaurant goes by the name of ibby. Dont go in December if your looking for lots to do. The animation team were very poor entertainment as they were so young. Not much going on around the hotel either through out December. Over all not bad. Good value for money. I would go again but try it in the summer time when theres lots more sun and plenty more going on through out the day.
