As we dropped off families at some ropey looking hotels..we were in anxious mood to see how our hotel would look...It was FANTASTIC..great rooms, great staff..great entertainment, sports, privat beach with Hotel bar / cafe there..YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED...GO.!

I arrived at the El Ksar with a great and friendly welcoming, which was a great surprise, as I had never been aboard before. Throughout the week I made friends with the staff, who were great company, the barmen were great, The staff go to the extreme to make your stay a comfortable stay, the new experience is one I will treasure throughout my life as I made new friends and I look forward to returning to both Tunisia and the el Ksar next year!

Top Local Tips for Sousse

Medina and souks Be friendly but firm when they try to get you in their shop. Saying "lâ, lâ, lâ" = "no,no,no" can help. When some ask you "Do you reconnise me? I'm working in your hotel", you can be sure that he wants you to get in a carpet or other shop. Simply tell him that you know the trick and you do not want to buy any carpet, leather or whatever. If you want to buy something try first to have an idea and start at least with only 5% of the original price he gave you. (Note that for a small glass perfume type bottle.. a vendor started at TND 350.... we offered TND 3 (!) ... but got it finally at TND 6! Is an extreme exemple but it can happen.) When you go to drink a coffee orange juice or whatever in the souks, ask ALWAYS the price first! Same for a taxi, inform you first at your hotel what the normal price is! Good luck
