Tunisia is great but just DO NOT STAY at the Le Sultan, Hammamet. It's been a nightmare. I had a taxi arranged a week in advance and it never arrived even though I got a sent receipt on my email and having talked to the front desk of the hotel the day before arriving. Arriving at a completely empty hotel, the front desk gave me a room with a view of the building below and not the sea - strike two. The staff at the front desk were unhelpful and actually disdainful. OK a bad start. My wife and I then went to restaurant and had an awful meal which cost an arm & leg. Gosh it was not a nice start at all. The next day, we went to the gym, incidentally my shed is better equipped, and nothing seemed to work. We then spent most of the time outside the hotel. So we had been promised a double bed but got two singles only - remember the hotel was empty???
