Spice Tour Definitely fun and interesting. We had a day of intermittent rain and it was good to get umbrellas (provided by the tour co.) and plodge around in the rain looking at vanilla, ginger, cardomom, cloves, etc all growing in a mixed forest as well as looking at and sampling lots of fruits. Add visits to the Slave Caves and discussing the history of E African slavery, a visit to a deserted beach where we swam in the rain and a fascinating tour of a sultan's bath and coffee house as well as veggy and spicy lunch in the village and freindly teenagers.. Our guide was Abdul of Island Discovery Tours and he was excellent.
