| Beautiful resort |
|
Breezes is really a beautifull resort. The food is excellent and the staff is very professional. Everything can be arranged for you. There is a very good diving school at the resort and if you want to go outside of the hotel everything is arranged for you. It was really a great holiday! |

| Breezes - waft of sewage.... |
|
Dont go here, if this is 5 star then I'm a monkeys uncle. Food uncovered - flies liked it, beach dirty, rooms "basic", staff trying best I suppose, plenty of people moaning about it when there - same experience for us at airport, Zanzibar fascinating as a place, "resort" rubbish. I have complained to ABTA. |

Our tour operator let us down with no one to collect us at Zanzibar airport in the late evening. There had been a power failure at the airport and we stood among a throng of locals who were desperately trying to offer us a taxi rides in a rather intimidating manner. On contacting the hotel the response was less than helpful, being told "it's not our job to collect guests from the airport, call back in 10 minutes...". Furthermore, bog standard ‘niceties’ one comes to expect from a 5 star, e.g. a telephone in the room, a well stocked mini bar, television, kettle etc are non existent. Breakfast was poor with some mornings serving no bacon and watered down fruit juice the norm. Raw sewage flowing past our room was reported to reception, this attended to ... Read more |
