I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say it was superb. From the moment I checked in to the moment I left, the staff were amazing and very friendly to me. Samson the bartender was always a delight to see and Andrew the gym instructor really helped the daily workout become bearable. Would recommend a stay there.

I recently stayed at The Arusha Hotel whilst I was on safari in Tanzania. This was such a lovely place to be after a long week in the bush. It's a very modern hotel but has lots of charm and the most gorgeous gardens. The rooms are very luxurious and I was lucky enough to stay in one of the executive rooms which it an absolute must. The hotel is right in the centre of town so has a real buzz to is. The staff are so friendly and helpful and I really wish I could have stayed longer.

Ideal for business and leisure. Very modern, professional and upmarket and right in the middle of the city so great for meetings. Would recommend it anyday.

Top Local Tips for Arusha

Don't walk around the town by yourself after dark. It is better to get a taxi from the hotel to the destination. Taxi fare must be negotiated beforehand.

3 must-do's Excellent places to dine: Nick's Pub, which has fantastic grilled chicken, fries, fish, bananas and a great scene in the evenings - very local, very fun - reminded me of being in the Peace Corps again! Also Flame Tree, which used to be much farther out of town but now is closer-in and has excellent food, though you may wait a while for service. And the coffee lodge which was a delightful place to go in atmosphere and for food, just outside town near the airport.

Arusha National Park If you have time for even a helf day trip to Arusha National Park, it's well worth the trip!
