For just a few rand you can see Giraffe, Zebra and a host of animals. We went during the day, and were rewarded. Dont drive off the road. make sure you cover the entire park to see it all.

The walk routs are amazing and the blue Grotto and absolute must. The hotel has excellent views and out door facilities, entertainment and sports. All missing activities are located in the area like river rafting and quad bike trails.
The weather was excellent and the days it rained the outdoors was still amazing.
If you are looking for adventure, fun and relaxation this is the place.
So that was the 8 out of 10. The missing 2 points are contributed to the food that was worse than my cooking in the middle of the forrest with nothing but a fire. How do they mess up a buffay that they prepare daily and that cost the price of expensive restaurant in Johannesburg? The rooms has a damp musk smell, ineffective air cons and a guardrail that was rotten off. (First day I almost were on my way to rest in hospital).
I was glad for the Out Door life and the OK - Foods store in Winterton that made my stay possible and an overall great experience.
To the hotel - get a proper chef and central cooling. The food is letting you down.
