A fine retreat
Idyllic location high above Tzaneen allowing a bit of respite from the heat in the valley and a splendid view of the Drakensberg mountains. Very well proportioned standard rooms and exceptionally large suites all with outstanding views. Beautiful gardens with excellent walks (and a world class collection of clivias).Attentive, pleasant and well trained staff cater to ones every need without being overbearing. Restaurant purveys interesting food of the highest quality complimented by a fine (and by UK standards)very reasonably priced wine list.We have stayed there a few times now and will hopefully return. I would have given 10/10 but nothing is perfect, the Coach House does however come very close!

Visit to restaurant and bars
I have visited the tzaneen area on several occasions over recent years and have now twice visited the Coach House for drinks and meals. I have always found the surroundings of the highest quality , the staff courteous and efficient ,the meals superb and drinks cheap [by our standards] and pleasantly served. I have nothing but praise for Horst and his staff ..... see you again in the very near future.
