Only go if you really like/want to see elephants Addo is very commercialised (now?). You will see lots of elephants (unless it has just rained, apparently) but you will also see an equal amount of, if not more, people, driving around. It is very unlikely indeed that you will see any rhino, lions or buffalo.

Overated The elephant part is fine for elephant viewing but there is little else really, we were very glad to be located in the more remote and beautiful northern section which currently has no elephants but is a stunning place to visit.
