Top Local Tips for Plettenberg Bay

Winter savings July / August is still winter in South Africa althought the weather is usually very pleasant for nothern Europeans. The big advantage is that hotels are generally very quiet and will give you excellent deals on room rates and room upgrades. Do not be afraid to ask for a deal as an empty room does not make any money for the hotel.

Food Hotel restaurant is nice, but not great. Restaurant on beach just below hotel has great fish.

Stormsriver Canopy Tour Recommend this activity for all ages, even those of us who hate heights, the guides are just fantastic fun, caring and safety conscious. Great half day out.
