The summerhouse restaurant is pricey and when you have kiddies (who by the way do not eat all the food on their plates) the R80 something was simply too high!
The black slate tiled thatched rooms have a restful feel, the cleanliness was a major concern. It was dustbunny central under our beds and we made a complaint, the housekeeping responded promptly. My husband has yet to post a picture on the web of the cobwebs etc.,
The complimentary soaps, shampoos, all herbal were a treat, and good quality.
Lots of activities for the kids, like the Peregrine castle and swimming pools and neighbouring activities eg., farms venues.
We are now gunning to stay at a more expensive suite, and hopefully use the spa facilities.
