The best child friendly restaurant in Johannesburg! Bambanani! I would like to recommend a child friendly restaurant in Melville to all of those parents who have kids and sick of the usual Spur and Mike's Kitchen, the name of the restaurant is Bambanani located in Melville Johannesburg. I still remember this place from the old day, it used to be " chaplins" and "question mark", it's unreal what those guys did to the place, they turned it into a kids heaven, the restaurant is super child friendly, i didn't even have to look out for my kids, they don't charge entrance fee and don't charge for the child minders, the playground is massive and their playroom for the older kids is impressive. The food is fantastic and the service is superb, what else can you ask for, i sure found my new spot. Highly recommended.

Joburg Airport Shopping I was told by numerous friends to be sure to save plenty of time at the Joburg airport for last minute shopping. Frankly, I found the airport stores had basically the same merchandise that was found in shops and markets throughout Africa, but at prices between 10 and 75 per cent higher...why wait? My philosophy remains the same and is very apropos in Africa--if one sees something one really likes at a shop or market while travelling throughout the country, buy it. More often than not, you won't find it again and will regret not making the purchase.
