Got to be the worst

Reception check in and out was a nightmare. Room was smelly and shower in a bath for R 1200 p/night. As for the bar - what a joke. They spend more time on the cell phone than service client with very overpriced drinks. I would have expected a lot better from Garden Court. Never again.

I could walk everywhere

I thought it was rather nice and staff were nice ( they kept my bags as I checked out and went shopping. It's great because you dont need a taxi to go to the square. Visiting it again this month.

The worst hotel I have ever been

This hotel got terrible management staff. One of the managers knocked on my door at 11:30 pm. I obviously was sleeping at that time. Without waiting for me to open the door, he entered the room and said that he was just checking if there is someone in the room, cause he wasn't sure. I was still lying in bed completely shocked, then couldn't fall asleep anymore because although my room was on the 7th floor, the restaurant accross the street had the music turned on so lound that I could clearly hear all the songs as it was coming from the room next door with all my windows shut util 1 am. For 10 floors there were 3 elevators, 2 of which were broken, and people couldn't even use the stairs cause they were locked. So what happens if there is a fire?

I am a frequent business traveller from London and have stayed in this hotel on a regular basis since May 2007. Great, friendly service. Brilliant location. Lifts were perfect! Better than most Holiday Inns I have stayed in in the UK, Continent and Australia

Very unprofessional on the call, delay in service, no response to calls many times. Lifts dont work most of the times, the staircase is scary for someone to go alone, swipe cards fail to work frequently. Pathetic service overall, I dint expect this kind of service from Holiday Inn hotels. I stayed in Holiday Inn hotels in other parts of the world but got a excellent service.
