The hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location, but is horribly let down by the decor. I know beauty is in the ey of beholder, but for goodness sake I wanted to vomit during my entire stay. I never would have believed that someone could allow themselves to create such a horrid looking establishment.

We have been staying at Misty Waves Hotel in Hermanus during our visit to
South Africa. If I have to rely our true experience: It was absolutely
amazing! We booked one of the Superior Suites which was VERY spacious with
excellent sea views, lounge area, posterbed and huge spa bath. We had a
marvellous three days stay and enjoyed Hermanus tremendously. The
accommodation was superb as was the breakfasts and outstanding friendly
service. This was also the experience of the two couples accompanying us. So much so that our friends are returning there for their honeymoon in December 2007. It will be an injustice to this lovely establishment if I have to give any negative comment. Hermanus is surely not a Village to be missed on any
itinerary to South Africa.
