Dirty, poor service and in desperate need of maintenance. With exception of some (excluding the manager)reception staff, service was shocking. Restuarant and pub staff, useless. Every table in the breakfast room is damaged or broken, every chair stained. NOT the "luxury 4 star" I was promised. NEVER AGAIN

I stayed here in June of '05 in a penthouse suite with a great view of the ocean and the beach. I really enjoyed it... Every last bit of it! Service was great! The restaurant was great and I was treated very generously.

I stayed here in Oct and it was great, but I was an apartment (A9) on the ground floor and right on the beach. I loved the decor and views.

The management treated our group with complete contempt we could not use the restaurant because
they had booked them for conference despite the fact we had prior booking to use the restaurant. They left the back door open all night with no security management, were cost cutting and putting their guests at risk.

Excellent Pizza Maestros on the beach offers fine casual dining with a huge menu serving everything!

Beachwalks If you are not interested in nightlife and being close to Cape Town, you will do great in walking hours and hours along the wide sandy beaches and crossing the lagoon, enjoying drinks at a coffee shop's outside veranda and watching seals and dolphins!
