The Best of Staying At Someone's Private Home
My husband and I LOVED The Ezard House. Ocean views were beautiful, service terrific, food excellent and the owner was quite charming and helpful. We felt as if we were staying with some good friends who let us share their home. While it is not centrally located, it is a very unique and personal experience.

Horrible Experience! Stay Away!
I would like warn you to stay away from Ezard House. I went to Ezard House for my honeymoon and the experience was completely awful. We were given the worst room (only room with NO ocean view), even though we paid for a luxury honeymoon room, the owner is extremely involved in the privacy of the guests, and even though they claim they have great service, this is the exact opposite of what we have experienced. The customer is ALWAYS wrong and they often surprise you with charges that you have never approved. Additionally, they didn’t allow us to use the Jacuzzi they have available for all guests, always claiming "someone" had reserved. It completely ruined our experience in Cape Town.

Perfection
Modern, minimalist, superb attention to detail. Rooms are huge and fantastically appointed with breath-taking views of the ocean and mountains. Apparently Nicolas Cage took over the whole hotel for his honeymoon! Highly recommended.
