Botanical gardens Go and see the giant tortoises at the Botanical gardens! You can get really close to them which is wonderful
Getting around Taxi's (like all things Seychelles) are expensive. From the Barbarons to Victoria is 100 Rupees each way for tourists (but the locals told me they would pay more like 25 rupees). Why not try the bus into Victoria. The Barbarons has a stop outside and the number 9 to Victoria and the number 11 return run each hour. The bus fare - a princely sum of 3 rupees each way !!!!
Check for holidays/ Visit the marketplace-- we heard it was amazing, but make sure to check whether it is a Saints Day, as each Island has its own saint, and on that day everything is closed!
