Nairobi has much to offer and is a great base for accessing the game parks, mountains, great rift valley, Lots of wildlife, birdwatching, fishing, scenery, walking trips, boating, nightlife and culture. When we arrived we were met personally at the airport and taken to the lodge. It really was homely and we were welcomed by Trevor and Charity. Our plan included local tour around Nairobi, Museum, Animal Orphanage, Karen Blixen Etc then on to the Masai Mara, Sweetwaters, the Aberdare Ranges, Rift Valley, Villages and Markets, the driver guides we had were knowledgable and friendly. Kikuyu Lodge is clean, good food, warm and welcoming between the adventures of Kenya. Also it is good to have someone with local knowledge who has time for you. That personal contact is important and at such a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
