Terrible hotel - dishonest staff and mediocre rooms

I stayed at the Jamiat for a few days earlier this year. The night before I left the country an expensive laptop was stolen from my room. The hotel manager assured me that the hotel had theft insurance and I would be compensated for the stolen property. However, when I left the country they backed out on their promise and now refuse to compensate me for the stolen laptop. I suspect hotel staff were involved.
