The hotel is located in a cool and quite secluded area and touches the beach. The management has kept away beach boys and the the food at the Jahazi restaurant overlooking the sea at night was very fantastic. The rooms were neat and spacious. The staff treats everyone like a VIP. I will definately get back to the hotel soon on my honeymoon. I forgot.. the massage at their spa was really good.

Top Local Tips for Mombasa

Visa needed I would say get a visa before you travel, as we had to queue for 2 hours to obtain this! If you do decide to wait until you get there make sure you either have £30 per person in cash (or american dollars) ready otherwise you will have to go and change your money up which is why everyone had to queue for 2 hours!!

Scuba Never thought at our age we would go scuba diving, but tried it and loved it!! Now booked onto a PADI course
