We chose this holiday so we could spend a relaxing Christmas in the sunshine and that is exactly what we did.
It was sunny and warm every day if a little cool in the evening when a light jacket was needed.
Only the hardiest guests went for a dip in the chilly main pool but the smaller pool down next to the beach was heated and very inviting. Sadly, it was most of the time full of children.
The staff are very friendly, the large gardens are beautiful and the rooms are clean.
We would recommend the all inclusive option as the drinks are very expensive. We had a very merry Christmas.

We stayed here in May of last year and would definitly go back again. Everything was spot on. On arrival we were greeted with a glass of Kirkade, our bags were brought to the room for us, we were then transported on a golf buggy type cart. The staff were so nice and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The grounds were beautiful and well tended. Our room was on the beach front and was well kept and clean. The pools were lovely and the staff at the Toucan bar really friendly and the spa pool was so relaxing. The food was a little hard to get used to but I'm sure any Egyptians coming here would find our food hard to get used to also!!We took a few trips which involved getting picked up at about 4am and even at that hour the security staff on the gate were friendly & chatty. After our trip there friends of ours actually went there and stay at the sister hotel. I would love to back there again and hopefully will do so before too long.

Just back from a week's holiday here. Very relaxing atmosphere - never have to fight for a sunbed and new beach towels are provided every day. Food excellent with plenty of choice and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Only downside is there isn't a lot of entertainment at night - and what they do have isn't up to much - but we were prepared for this and it certainly didn't spoil the holiday. Insect repellant is a must as the mossies are quite bad. The hotel beach is a 5 min walk (but there is a bus provided)and is lovely and secluded and you get a chance to ride on Moses the camel. The rooms are large with fridge and free safe. Cleanliness of hotel overall is excellent. The quadbiking trip into the desert was fantastic and well worth it - but you do get very dusty!! There isn't much surrounding the hotel but if you're happy to sit by the pool or at the beach then it's perfect. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone and I will be going back.

We had a really nice time the gardens and waterfalls fabulous, but drinks very expensive £2.50 for a small bottle and £14.00 for a bottle of wine, we upgraded to a marina room after been targeted at the reception at a cost of £ 120.00. We were very disappointed with the room and extras promised we complained and asked to be downgraded which they did and gave us a credit. The food in the restaurants was poor for a 5 star hotel and spoilt by waiters messing around the best one is the Italian, but on whole the staff very friendly and helpful. Not for the young as nothing to do after evening meal. We enjoyed the week but don’t suppose we will go back, as wouldn’t another couple we got talking to. Thanks.

The resort was excellent, although I would not advise young people to visit as there is not much in the way of evening entertainment. The pool area was very clean and tidy and the rooms were immaculate. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The only downside was that the pool was freezing cold and so was the food, and the menu was quite limited.
But on the whole a wonderful place to stay
