I was in Nubian Village in 8.-18.9. 2008 with my family and I very very liked it. The food was great, swimming pools fantastic and the sea beatiful! The weather was very hot - about 38´C! If you hesitate, taht you can go there, I say YES! Do it! It is really good.

I ejoyed the holiday. The only downer was there was no entertainment (they had to renew there visa) there was nothing to do in the evening. The staff were brilliant. Cleaning really good, was to keen on there food I didn't eat much. I had a upset stomach for 5 days (and still 2 days after the holiday) and my boyfriend had a upset stomach for 6 days (and still 2 days after holiday) That was the real downer being unwell.

The staff are soooo friendly, food excellent, location fantastic, we could not have asked for more. If you are a sun worshipper it is the best place to go. The animation team Olga and her wonderful son (who were fantastic with our children) made our holiday, always getting you involved and making you laugh I recommend this hotel to anyone.

We heard different stories about Egypt - How you must be careful what you eat and drink. This hotel was perfect. The staff are so friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean. The food is wonderful and no one in our party went down with anything. This is the place if you like snorkeling or diving as the fish here is a sight to see.
About 20 min by taxi to Namma bay and we had a meal there. Suggest you use the hotel taxi as the taxis on the ranks all think they are lewis hamilton.

We went as two couples, staying in the bungalows at Nubian village. Only faults the bungalows had were lighting very bad and would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities. Beautiful setting the gardeners kept the area looking lovely. Hotel was really nice, staff were great, food a little repetitive but good. Weather was in the 80's so overall a great holiday. We would have liked a bit more professional entertainment as it was aimed more at youngsters. Being English we were very outnumbered but didn't worry us. In all a nice relaxing break.

We are literally just back from this hotel and I can honestly say we couldn't find fault with it. The place was spotless the staff were lovely very friendly and helpful. The food was good, a bit repetitive but good. The snorkelling from the pier at the beach is excellent and the fish are amazing. The hotel nightlife is quiet but Namma bay is very lively and only about 20mins by taxi at a cost of about 8 and believe me the taxi ride is an experience...! The animation team in the hotel are great fun they speak mainly Italian buy translate everything into English and they do their best to involve everyone in the entertainment. We've booked to go back in October and I can't wait.
P.S. I had the best pedicure and manicure ever in the beauty salon at the hotel.

Returned this year for our second visit having previously visited in November 2005. Most of the staff recognised our small party from the previous year and they just can't do enough for your. The animation team is much improved from last year lead by the lovely Olga who makes great effort to involve everybody in the fun.
Plenty to do for singles, couples, families and the retired. An ideal holiday destination.

We really liked the service, food, accommodation. The only this was the weather in January, there was no possibility of swimming neither in the sea nor in the pools - bloody cold. But all the rest was just fine!! We do recommed this hotel!

I absolutely loved this hotel and I will definitely be going back. We traveled with Cosmos who was very helpful; the rep was great and nice. Warning to those traveling with travelers checks, the hotel doesnt have the facility to change them and you will need to go to Narma Bay. Although the rep changed ours for us which was a great help.
The hotel was beautiful, the food hall is massive with plenty of food to choose from, although if you are traveling all inclusive you can wander ext door to sea life hotel and use their restaurant and pool. Which is great if you fancy a bit of a change. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much for them, and they have a great sense of humour. Our room was lovely, and the cleaner was really nice. Just a smile and hello when you see them will be plenty for them. Although we did tip him on our last day, even though if was only £3.50 I have never seen someone so grateful!!!
The pool is huge, and even when it is busy there is plenty of space to swim and plenty of sun beds. The beach is lovely, although watch out, the sand gets pretty hot!! The sea is beautifully clear and the tropical fish swim around your feet. I would definitely recommend getting a snorkel and going down the pier and snorkel off the end. It is magically the reef is a must see!
I would definitely suggest going on some of the trips, there are plenty offered depending on what you like. We tried quad biking, which was great for all ages. There are automatics or manuals so dont worry! I thought it would just be a track although we went out in to the desert and all though the mountains, I loved it, I would really recommend it to anyone. Ras Mohamed was amazing; they take you to 3 different places out on a boat. Then you can snorkel for about 40 min each along the coral reefs, it was so good, although watch your back doesnt get burnt like mine!!!
The jeep safari was brilliant, although I wouldnt suggest it if you get travel sick. We went snorkeling in a place called the blue hole, it was beautiful, and we did see turtles! We then went on a camel ride along the shore for an hour and a half; it was really fun, although you tend to have no control over them! After lunch we went on a proper jeep safari, though the mountains, and it is a bit of a rough ride but brilliant. You also get a chance of shopping in the town of Dahab, which is good if you want presents for family etc.
Overall the holiday was a big success and I will definitely be going back. Although just remember to bring loads of sun cream, because you'll love it!!!
