We stayed for 7 nights in September at the Marriott Beach Resort in Sharm, having stayed at the Marriott Beach resorts in Thailand before. Quite disappointing compared to the ones in Thailand. Room ok, although had booked and paid extra for Sea view but on arrival was told none available and we would have to have Garden view. Still trying to obtain refund for this from Thomas Cook...
Bathroom was quite shabby. Cleaning not good - had to ask to have the room cleaned several times. Mini bar not restocked fully ever. Food was poor and expensive. Electricity failed in the hotel twice in the week - and at temperatures of 43 degrees, this was not pleasant! Staff ok, not usual Marriott standards though. Wouldn't go again.

On our holiday, we went- as 2 young couples, and had a fantastic time. The hotel staff were very friendly and the food and drinks were very reasonable. Would really like 2 go back soon.

I am writing this review after 2 years because since I have been to so many places like Tunisia, Turkey, Spain, Cyprus. I have to say this holiday was the best for me and my family. The hotel was just tooooooo good, we really enjoyed ourselves, it is far better than the other country's I have visited, this hotel is highly recommended, I am planning to go Egypt again and stay at Marriott.

It is the first hotel where we asked the staff to clean the room. The food was poor to good with not so much variety - even we had HB we prefer to eat outside the hotel.

This hotel is the cleanest I have ever stayed in, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was excellent with a large variety of meals to choose from. It is only 20 minutes walk into the centre of Naama bay where there are excellent restaurants to eat also. The Hilton Fish Restaurant is worth a visit. There is also a variety of shops to buy gifts in Naama bay. The Aquarius Diving School was excellent at teaching Padi open water divers and the diving was amazing in the Red Sea. I dont think I will ever experience better conditions to dive in. The visability was excellent. It was like daylight eighteen metres deep. The fish and coral were so colourful. It was an amazing holiday and I would go back to Egypt any time for a repeat visit.
