We have just got back from our hols in sharm,we stayed at eden rock after being sent there from the halomy (room probs,we were told. Best move ever, we had a wonderful view over naama bay hotel and staff cannot be faulted. Staff were wonderful with my partner when he got tuts revenge, even going into naama to get him some medication,nothing is too much trouble. Ffood very nice but a bit repetitive, but we were happy to stay around hotel and have meals. The steps down to the bay are a bit steep ,but if u want to go out you got to use them unless you really do have problems with steps then u can take a taxi,even the man in the gift shop is very friendly will get you anything in his power. This is one of the best holidays we have ever had, definitely will be going back. There are too many names to mention but to all the staff we say a big thankyou and keep up the good work. They make this hotel a lovely friendly place to stay. We were asked out on numerous occasions to go for tea in the bay, which we did. The people are so friendly and no strings attached, they are really genuine.

Top Local Tips for Sharm El Sheikh

Trips to Cairo - Luxor If you want to holiday in Sharm but visit the historic monuments while you are there i would recommend booking the flights etc on your own!! A return flight to Cairo is about £40 - it is cheap to get taxis, food etc. When you book a tour you pay around £120 each - flight - transfers - food - this is great but you can do it cheaper!! Also on a tour you are stuck to their timetable - we had to visit perfume shops and papyrus shops - and then a big shopping mall - aswell as the pyramids and museum!! If you go it alone you can go where you want when you want for a cheaper price!!

Just meet the charm of Sharm Hit the the center of Sharm El Sheikh in the evening. If you want to have fun (i.e. drink, dance, smokin' pipe) - it's all there.

Active or Relax - take your pick ! Our trip was as a couple & became the ideal place to recover from a traumatic experience which we had encountered very early in our holiday. We were unable to return home & so stayed for the remainder of the week at Eden Rock Hotel at Naama Bay in Sharm. We had a very intimate, relaxing time together in beautiful surroundings, long beach walks and gentle evening strolls. Because of our circumstance we did'nt venture very far and did no sight seeing - but it's all there if you want it. We will return and participate in the numerous water sports available, visit the local markets and book up the many day excursions on offer. Basically your holiday in Sharm can be whatever you want it to be - full on activity day & night or un-interrupted relaxation. You will not be disappointed.
