I can say only 3 words, I adore this hotel. It is the best ever. The hotel is perfect and I go to it every year. I really adore it.

After being a week in an all inclusive, 5 star hotel in naama bay, we had a 24hr delay. we were situated in this hotel for one night, and this was one night too many. it was terrible. dirty, dirty, dirty. we did not use the facilities of the resort, i.e pool but could see it was in need of a good scrub. Maggots were in peoples room, the water that came out of the shower was red and the air con did not work. ouch!!!!!!!! I slept with my clothes on and my eyes open as I did not feel safe at all. we placed the suitcases in front of the door just in case.....

Out of ten, I could not give the hotel a higher number. Do not go there! you have to have a taxi everywhere you want to go. there was a plane full of angry people who could not wait to get out of there. so, you have been warned.....aida aida...stay away!

We stayed at Hotel Aida Resort in March, 2006 for one week. Food was ok - plentiful, but the same thing every night. Resort has no alcohol and you can't buy it at the resort...however, you can buy it in the town and bring it to the resort. Resort is in a great location - between Na'ama Bay and Sharm el Sheikh. Resort is dirty...the lawn chairs are dirty, cushions are old and not clean. Really not a clean resort. Public bathrooms on the resort are dirty and have no toilet paper. They provide a bus to the beach and Na'ama Bay. Beach chairs/bathrooms are not clean. There appears to be only Italians at the resort - Italian spoken almost exclusively. All excursions are in Italian.
The fitness center was terrible! It had weights and the only piece of cardio equipment that worked was the treadmill. It did not appear to be air conditioned.
If you go here - Bring Toilet Paper!!
Definitely Would NOT Recommend.

Top Local Tips for Sharm El Sheikh

Excursion to cairo from sharm by plane we had a great trip with www.excursionsfromsharm.com , the service in this company is perfect , the guide in Cairo was very good and helpful , we recommend every one to use this company in all excursions in Sharm El-Sheikh .

Dining out in Naama Bay restaurants One evening with another couple we met we visited Naama Bay. The hotel called the taxis for us which cost 70 Egyption Pounds, a walk down through Naama Bay we choose a fish restaurant and the gents then had to haggle for the meal. They had to choose the fish we wanted and they were weighed and priced accordingly. The fish plater was then cooked. Some of the fish were over cooked and we complained so the manager made a small reduction. They do not serve alchol and recommeded an offsales for the tourist which again was expensive for two bottles of wine. Wefinished off our night with a round of beers in a Mexican bar, the entire night together with taxis back cost in the region of £200/210 so beware that you must haggle for everything and watch your change as the 500 EP is very similiar to the 50 which is only worth about 50pence.
