This was our second stay here and we have already booked up for a 3 weeks stay next year.
The staff are great, the food is wonderful as they cater for every taste all day everyday and you can eat as much or as little as you want.
This def not a hotel if you want lots of noise and parties infact its the complete reverse you just relax and chill out.You can go diving if you wish but there are better places than this resort to do this.Only real way into the sea is via the pier and then you are into water that is very deep but is lovely and clear and beautifully warm, ideal for snorkelling but can get a bit choppy, you need to be a strong swimmer if the yellow flag is out and dont bother if red flag is flying. The daytime entertainment is ok ish if you like water volleyball or keep fit, not realy alot to do on site the evening entertainment is orchestrated by the daytime staff and mostly has alot to be desired, they are not geared around the english more the italians. There are 4-5 shops attached to the hotel which sell local items they are friendly but can seem to be pushy but its there way and you are quite safe.Dont bother taking towels as plenty in your room plus you get extras for the swimming area etc.The hotel is 'cashless' hotel so you charge everything to your room, keep your receipts and you can clear your account as often as you want, you can pay using some credit cards or you can use case/trav chqs, we take £500-00 in egyptian and the rest in stirling, you can cash trav chqs at reception. There is not a lot to spend money on in the hotel so if you not doing any trips then £500-00 will be more than enough for 2 of you on a 2 weeks stay.We did luxor 2 day excursion, that was brill but very very hot we also did the quad bikes into the desert and next year we intend to spend 3-5 days in cairo. The staff here dont seem to forget a face, they remembered our first trip here and they made us more than welcome this second trip, we are realy looking forward to our third trip next year.If there was a minus then it would be that they are very quick to clear your food plates etc away (not because they want you to move away) its just there way, the SECOND you put your fork down then hey wheres my plate gone and I do mean they are quick, becomes a bit of a joke when youve got use to it.If the management are reading this then look forward to seeing you next year and has Babellas wife had the baby yet? Hope you find this helpful,If you want to ask any ?s of us then pls feel free to email on simon.linda_johnson@ntlworld.com

We arrived between christmas and New Year, flight and reps where great as it was nice to go to a destination without been pushed into trips. Flamenco beach had a superb beach and the staff were fantastic. New years Eve was a bit of a let down but we made it our own. The food was great every night, but didnt think much to the entertainment. The housekeeping was superb as you didnt even have to make your own bed as they came in every day and even left chocolates for you, you even dont have to take towels here for the beach as they supply them to you.

We went to Hurghada while staying here but was'nt impressed as it was a bit like Beirut, (dont recommend going)If you want nightlife then this is not the place for you, but if you want a relaxing holiday like we did then definatley go as we had great time, and would go back when we want a relaxing holiday. Overall great for relaxing and the scuba diving is fantastic, and its great to go on the camels. We also did the quad bikes in the dessert and that was amazing as we even had tea with the Bedoins.

We came back from Quseir a week ago. It was our first visit to Egypt and Flamenco Beach. Thomas Cook were wonderful in every respect, transfers included, and the local Rep was always there to help. The hotel was even better than we had hoped, and reflected the description. The hotel and all public rooms were squeaky clean as was our room. Food was exellent and plenty of it. The
Italian Restaurant was well worth the £5 each on top of our half board tokens. Without exeception the staff just coudn't have been more courteous and friendly. It is such a change to meet people who obviously enjoy their work, no matter at what level.

The grounds and pools were excellent. Wonderful greenery, lawns and radiant flowers were there to greet you at you breakfast on the sun terrace.
It is worth noting that there is a built-in watering system for all the plants etc. which uses recycled water from the hotel. The two main pools, one heated even in March, were ideal to laze around and the pool bar just tops it off. Plenty of free sunbeds, matresses and beach towels. The sea itself was a glorious transparent
blue at the end of the pier with steps for access, and the coral stretches from there to the beach. You can only enter the coral at a marked area where you can snorkel.
We did a couple of trips one to snorkel from a boat over more coral, one to see Quseir, described as the nearest 'City'. There really is not much to see at Quseir and shopping there is a trial as Tourism has only just begun there and the
local traders can be very forceful.
This Hotel is not the place to go if you want a lively time and the entertainment left a bit to be desired. The Flamenco is the place to go to just chill out without any worries, and you can feel pampered most of the time.
The area away from the Hotel can be summed up in a word - desert! It is about an hour from Marsa Allam Airport and the about another hour into Marsa Allam which we were told holds virtually
nothing for the tourist. It is encouraging to see
how this area is going all out to become popular,
indeed all the new resort/hotels at 5-10km. apart
all seem to be low-rise developments.
Having rambled on I would say that we will be going to the Flamenco Beach next March when we will enjoy lounging about and suntanning at what we think is a Hotel worthy of some praise.
